Estella Bartlett has been trading since 2011 and came to Media Lounge with an already existing store but wanted to migrate over to the full proof platform that is Magento 2 to help represent the elegance and beauty of their products alongside a frictionless user experience which allows customers to have a relaxing shopping experience.
Because Estella Bartlett already had a site up and running Media Lounge wanted to elevate what was already there so they could use it as a starting point to see what kind of feel they wanted for their site going into this new chapter. When designing the site, Media Lounge wanted to create a fully responsive treatment that showed off the brand’s stunning product photography regardless of what device is being used to view it on. Everything from small mobile screens to widescreen desktop monitors should appear just as beautifully with just as good clarity. The site is very image heavy so it was important for all images to look their best at all times.
The site contains a lot of great features which all create an easy to navigate and stress-free user experience. One of these being an advanced search function which is where the user can begin typing for an item and will then show up the most relevant results while typing. Having this type of search feature means that customers are able to find what they’re looking for without having to navigate through the whole store.
The Estella Bartlett team wanted a way to inform their customers both new and old of all the latest trends and collections they have released, which is why Media Lounge created a 'stories' section, A single area in which customers can discover the newest and most popular collections from the brand. From these stories customers can see the full product range in that category which means they don’t have to rifle through the whole site looking for a specific item.
When it comes down to the more functional side of the site, there are tons of hidden features to make the general use of the site the easiest possible. This includes having a dedicated image-based product page which makes browsing a lot more straightforward. In order to make the checkout process quick and easy Media Lounge implemented special features to help to check out a hassle-free job. One of which being including OneStepCheckout which makes sure that while checking out all of the necessary forms and information is all on one page. Media Lounge have used this on numerous other sites and works wonderfully.
