International Short Story Contest 2019 by Wise Writer Award is Open to Entries

New York, NY, April 12, 2019 --(PR.com)-- All around the world, thousands of people of all ages write great stories that are never shared or recognized. Creative and original stories that are relegated to an enclosed notebook or document on the computer that no one, other than the author, will read.

Aiming to change this reality, a Brazilian literature student decided to create the Wise Writer Award, a contest that encouraged Brazilian youngsters and adults to write and publicize their work to the general public. Today, the project has grown and aims to reach new writers worldwide.

To celebrate this new international phase, WWA is promoting the Short Story Contest 2019, open to people of any nationality aged 16 or over. The competition accepts short stories on any subject and in any style.

The project organizers believe that every good writer deserves to be paid for their work, so the winners of the contest will receive a cash prize. 1st prize is $ 2,000, $ 500 for the 2nd and $ 250 for the 3rd winner.

To submit your story to the contest, simply access the registration form available on the website (https://wisewriteraward.com) with your name, contact information, the file with a short story with up to 2,500 words and pay the $ 13 registration fee.

Entries can be made by June 15, 2019 and writers can send as many stories as they like, provided they are in English. Winners will be announced on July 20, 2019.
