AppJetty Adds an Exclusive Live Tracking Feature to TapCRM

AppJetty , an extensions and plugins store based in India, added a live tracking feature to TapCRM App with newly enhanced features to simplify the CRM data processing from Mobile.

Ahmedabad, India, April 13, 2019 --( AppJetty is a software plugin and extension store for leading e-commerce platforms and CRM including Sugar, SuiteCRM, Magento, Odoo, etc. to name a few. They released a mobile app for Sugar/SuiteCRM called TapCRM less than two years ago and since then have added various features to it. Their mobile-specific features make the mobile app stand out of the crowd. And they have recently added another feature which is Live Tracking, built on the Firebase development platform.

When asked about it, their spokesperson said that they are very excited about the release of this feature and had high hopes for the success of the same. They also explained how it works: “The Live Tracking feature is great for sales managers. Because they will be able to track exactly where their sales representatives are, at a given time.”

TapCRM already had an admirable list of features and Live Tracking adds to this impressive list. It works based on Google Maps Places API. Google Maps is constantly updating the maps and therefore, the Live Tracking feature will be able to pull live data from it, to display in the TapCRM app. Google Maps API integration provides accurate map data.

The Live Tracking feature also shows the meetings that the sales representatives have already had during the day and the one that they are yet to have. This prevents miscommunication with a customer as well as within the team.

TapCRM’s Live Tracking feature elevates the use of their mobile app CRM. In the long run, it can help prevent waste of fuel, time, as well as money.

The live Tracking feature is accessible only by the admin so that they can keep a track of each representative, but the representative does have to give consent for sharing their location data. Only then will the admin be able to track them.

Along with location tracking, Live Tracking also has a check-in, checkout feature. The Check-in feature shows the data of all the meetings that representatives have to go to, and the checkout feature indicates the meeting that has already taken place. In future versions, there will be an indicator to show on-going meetings.

When asked how the design came about, Pratik Shah, the head of design at AppJetty, talked about how he wanted the feature to have the essential elements and not clutter it with too much. A CRM, even though all the essential features, is a very overwhelming space in the first place. Therefore, it was important for him to have the Live tracking feature have the right elements without any unnecessary layers.
