Charlotte County Soccer Federation Coach and Sponsor Appreciation Dinner Honors Award Recipients

CCSF is pleased to announce the award winners.

Charlotte County, FL, April 29, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Charlotte County Soccer Federation Inc. (CCSF) is pleased to announce the recipients of the appreciation sponsor and coach awards. Over 125 coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and board members gathered at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner last Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Laishley Crab House in Punta Gorda.

“Our board members have worked together producing this event of appreciation and gratitude,” said Erick Toth, President of CCSF. “.. the work of nonprofits is more important than ever. How wonderful to finish this year’s soccer season with coaches, volunteers, sponsors and board members coming together as a soccer community and honoring the hard work everyone has done the season...”

Dr. Joseph Whitesides - Whitesides Orthodontics received the Golden Whistle Award Recognizing Contributions Beyond Coaching. Dr Whitesides was recognized as a U12 coach and a club sponsor providing support to CCSF.

The Leaving a Legacy Award was presented to Joseph Sabino, Recreational Coach and Osmar Andrade Competitive Coach, who have served as coaches and mentors to players and coaches alike.

Making a Difference Award was given to Oscar Revilla, Recreational Coach recognizing the positive Impact his coaching has made to the players in the Club.

The Coach of the Year Award was presented to Miguel Dotres Recreational Coach and Rich Monticchio Competitive Coach for outstanding contributions as coaches this soccer season.

The Lifetime Achievement Award given to an individual who has made a positive and notable difference during their time with Charlotte County Soccer Federation by significantly contributing to development of the club, coaches, players, referees and board members. Mr. Richard Moss-Solomon, a founding member, board member, special advisor, coach, referee and supporter of the club for many years. Mr. Moss-Solomon lifetime contribution was recognized with a perpetual soccer scholarship in his name to be awarded by him each year to a club member.

In addition, all club coaches received a coaching award certificate and each club sponsor received a sponsor appreciation award certificate. A special thank you to the staff a the Crab House for hosting the event.
