Norton, MA, May 03, 2019 --(PR.com
)-- Bob Perachio, Norton based photographer and founder of RDP Photography, has launched the photographic portrait series, “Faces of Norton.” The project has been created to capture and place a timestamp at what Perachio feels is a crossroads of the town while featuring the many people and backgrounds from the Norton community. The series will highlight the vibrant and familiar faces in the town. Some who have immersing stories to tell about their lives and residency in Norton. From children to retirees, right-winged to liberal, quiet to outspoken, the list is endless.
While the community of Norton is small, the beliefs have driven a vast divide within the town. The goal of “Faces of Norton” is designed to unite the people and families of the populace through art & photography. Something Bob feels is missing from our community. The historical "black and white" ideologies throughout town have led to the theatrical undertone of all portraits being captured in contrasting tones of black and white.
A future gallery showing of the project will hope to further strengthen the community while shedding light on so many who have helped shape Norton and also those who will contribute to the future of our small town. In addition to the gallery, Perachio will be looking into the production & publication of a coffee table book.
Perachio is still recruiting “interesting” faces of Norton for the project. Sponsors are also welcome to reach out via phone or email. Each approved individual will be photographed (taking only 15-20 minutes of their time) in the Norton studio.
