Chuchka, an ancient Yiddish word that means "trinkets" or "collectables" exploded in the Australian market quickly, offering a range of trend-setting, transeasonal and lust-worthy lifestyle items and accessories at an affordable price-point for the modern style-savvy woman.
“Growing up my family used 'Chuchka' a lot to describe cool accessories we stumbled upon on shopping excursions. So, when the brand was taking shape, Chuchka became the obvious name, as a line of coveted, collectable accessories is exactly what I was trying to create. Naturally I took a lot of inspiration from my family and my Bondi lifestyle in terms of developing the brand aesthetic and identity,” says Schwartz.
Now the young mom of three, who started the business as a creative side project while on maternity leave, is here to bring this Aussie flavour of armwear to the international market, starting with fashion-forward ladies in New York and LA who love their Australian owned brands.
Featured in Australian Vogue, Made of Fashion, and Goop, and stocked in over 300 major department stores and boutiques in Australia, Chuchka was soon spied by SoulCycle and a collaboration was born for an exclusive range of SoulCycle Chuchkas featuring their famed skeleton crossbow.
With the immediate popularity of the SoulCycle bags in store, Chuchka looks forward to more exclusive collaborations and partnerships with aligned brands and US retailers looking to expand their offering of hot Australian owned labels with a strong history of success.

Chuchka’s range of Neoprene bags started with their signature oversized tote, which soon expanded to other bag categories including the mini tote, hand bags, backpacks, crossovers, bucket bags, bum bags, diaper bags, gym bags, and clutches. With the popularity of the label, new styles and fabrics were brought into the mix such as the Mexican Tote made of hand-woven recycled plastic, and the new suede espadrille It Bag, which will launch first in the States.
