Global Rhythms is Presenting Their First Annual Dance Showcase on June 8th, 2019

Nelson, Canada, May 06, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Three of Nelson’s finest dance instructors, Sarah MacGregor, Corrine Bundschuh and Marilyn Hatfield have joined forces to craft Nelson’s first Global Rhythms Dance Showcase on Saturday, June 8, 7:30pm at the Capitol Theatre in Nelson.

"There are so many excellent dance studios in Nelson," says Sarah MacGregor of Kesavah BellyDance, "it's quite amazing for such a small town. After taking each other's classes and learning more and more about all of our different styles we realized that there are rhythm similarities across all dance genres, and as a reflection, across the globe, and so the concept of Global Rhythms was born."

With support from the Nelson and District Arts Council, this collaborative dance showcase will feature the dance styles of Flamenco, Bellydance, and Rhythm Dance, as well as some special Salsa guest performers, and will take the audience on a journey across the globe while at the same time weaving all the rhythms together.
