Change is Coming to America’s Job Center in Monterey County

Salinas, CA, June 20, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Local job seekers can expect to see some new faces at America’s Job Center as of July 1st, 2019. ResCare Workforce Services will be providing career and training services at America’s Job Center in Salinas and at satellite offices in Marina and Greenfield.

“ResCare will be offering the same types of career services that job seekers have come to expect from the current service provider and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program,” said Chris Donnelly, Monterey County Workforce Development Board, Executive Director. “The Monterey County Workforce Development Board is contacting all current WIOA customers to make them aware of the new service provider, ResCare Workforce Services.”

As of July 1st, WIOA job seekers who will be assigned new case managers to coordinate their day-to-day needs. “While AJCC will be closed from 8:00AM-1:00PM that day, it will re-open at 1:00PM to provide the community with the outstanding service they expect and deserve,” said Donnelly. “We are here to help you succeed.”

America’s Job Center of California connects job seekers to valuable services that include the use of resource rooms and computers, job search and skills workshops, information on training and education, referrals to partner agencies and community resources as well as labor market information on growth industries in Monterey County. Career and training services are provided to a diverse spectrum of residents.
