Free Class - How to Build a Waterfall

Hands-on Seminar Teaches Homeowners to Install Low-Maintenance Waterfall.

Santa Clara, CA, April 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Brookside is sponsoring a free hands-on seminar for the public. They will be building a pondless waterfall at their new showroom in Santa Clara. Attendees can work on the waterfall as much or as little as they like. A free BBQ is also happening during the class.

Pondless waterfalls are the newest craze in water features because they give you the sound and beauty of a waterfall without the maintenance of a pond. Pondless waterfalls can be put on a timer to run similar to a fountain. Pondless waterfalls recycle water so they are a beautiful, low maintenance addition to any landscape area.

Brookside hosted its first free class of the season on March 29th as part of its Grand Re-Opening with 30 people attending the class and nearly 50 people attending their free BBQ. Class attendees helped to build a large outdoor pond and waterfall at the showroom. People also enjoyed viewing the rest of the remodeled showroom which includes ponds, waterfalls, and a “dark-room” featuring an outdoor theater system and a low-voltage lighting display.

The showroom features paver patios, arbors, retaining wall, BBQ island, artificial turf as well as an outdoor theater system. The showroom also retails the products necessary for maintaining a water garden including plants and fish. The showroom is open Friday and Saturday 9-4 and by appointment during the rest of the week.
