Colorado Based Movie "Diamond in the Rough," Rated PG-13, Premieres on July 11

A Faith-Based Film that Offers a Message of Hope and Healing While Focusing on the Real Issues of PTSD, Homelessness and Substance Abuse.

Denver, CO, July 02, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The premiere of the latest Keep It Moving Production’s film “Diamond in the Rough,” which is directed by Rob Walker, will take over the Landmark Cinema in Greenwood Village, CO on July 11, 2019. Actor Clifton Powell, known for Ray (with Jamie Foxx) and Next Friday (with Ice Cube) and most recently, Black Lightning, is together with Jordan Werner, known for Waiting... (with Ryan Reynolds), and Tapestry (with Steven Baldwin), as the leading actors of the movie.

Aaliyah Shumpert makes her debut with a role in the new Rob Walker movie “Diamond In The Rough.”

"Diamond in the Rough" follows Michelle (Shumpert), a young teen in Colorado, who loses her faith amidst extreme hardships and brief homelessness. With a mother battling drug and alcohol addiction since she was little, and war veteran father battling extreme PTSD, violence and dysfunction are the norm. But with a grandmother strong in her faith, and new friendships at school that break down walls, Michelle begins to realize that sometimes hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.

The film stars popular actors such as Clifton Powell, Jordan Werner, Batya Cruz and Pam Renall. Producers are Keep It Moving Productions, while Rob Walker is the director. The script is the work of Louie Olivas, Clay S. Walker, and Rob Walker.
