FastComet Introduces New Dedicated CPU Servers

After reinventing their whole brand identity earlier this year, FastComet is keeping up the pace, introducing the Dedicated CPU Servers.

San Francisco, CA, June 28, 2019 --(PR.com)-- FastComet is a web hosting provider from San Francisco, California that was established in 2013. After reinventing their whole brand identity earlier this year, FastComet is keeping up the pace, introducing the Dedicated CPU Servers. These Servers are backed by AMD EPYC 7501 processor, designed to meet the requirements of specific applications that can take advantage of the higher clock speeds. The Dedicated CPU Servers include easy scalability, load balancing, and rapid deployment provisioning. FastComet’s clients get their own cloud instances with dedicated CPU, SSD drives, and RAM. Also, there is a new level of scalability that was previously possible only in the virtual cloud. All clients can still count on 100% dedicated server performance.

Elena Tileva, the Marketing Manager of FastComet talks about the new Dedicated CPU Servers:

“The Dedicated CPU Servers are optimized to deliver a well-proportioned balance of memory, dedicated CPU, and SSD storage resources. They’re ideal for a variety of application workloads ranging from web apps and databases to larger applications that have higher memory requirements and still demand predictable CPU performance. This includes enterprise business applications, e-commerce sites, agencies with high-profile clients, and busy application servers. We’re emphasizing the 'dedicated'-ness – that you can spin to 100% CPU all the time, without worry. The underlying CPU resources for these servers are dedicated and shared with no one else. Dedicated CPU threads are assigned exclusively to cores on the hypervisor, so there is no sharing or competing for these resources between servers.”

The AMD EPYC 7501 processor comes with many more cores than the previously used Intel E5-2680 v3. This large number of cores is to tackle multiple programs or multi-threaded applications. The processor has 150% higher memory bandwidth, compared to the Intel E5-2680 v3. The new CPU supports DDR4-2666 memory, which is far better than the previous 2133 MHz data rate.

FastCloud is the only Cloud Hosting solution with an integrated pro-active monitoring system provided as a service at no extra cost. FastComet Observer Monitoring collects system-level metrics all in one place. It offers insight into resource usage across one’s infrastructure. Monitoring gives all administrators the necessary information with graphs explicitly made about the health and integrity of the servers.
