Pharmacy Town Host Grand Opening Event

Ocean, NJ, July 09, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Pharmacy Town hosted its grand opening event on June 28th, 2019. The newest pharmacy in town is located at 1560 State Highway 35 Ocean, NJ inside the Super Foodtown of Ocean. Special guests at the Grand Opening were Mayor Christopher Siciliano, Deputy Mayor Richard Long, Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling, Senator Vin Gopal, and Coucilwoman Donna Schepiga. The pharmacy provided free blood pressure screenings and free vitamins for all patients that attended the event.

“With healthcare being so complex these days, Pharmacy Town’s main goal is to deliver quality healthcare in a caring, compassionate, and cost-effective manner. Patients come first at Pharmacy Town!” said Dev Tailor, pharmacist. “Pharmacy Town will be working with prescribers and applying coupons when applicable to assure patients are receiving the highest standard of care at the lowest possible price.” In addition, the pharmacy is making it a goal to provide personalized service by talking to patients on each and every medication they take.

Pharmacy Town will fulfill the needs of the community through a combination of services. The pharmacy will be providing free delivery and continue to provide free multivitamins for all patients. In addition, diabetic supplies, medical equipment, immunizations, specialized medications, pet medications, and full spectrum CBD products will be available. The pharmacy currently has a Shingrix vaccine (has been on shortage) indicated to prevent Herpes Zoster in stock. A certified Doctor of Pharmacy will be available at all times for expert counseling for prescription and over the counter medications.

Pharmacy Town has also been granted by the New Jersey Department of Health a standing naloxone order to provide naloxone to patients who may require it. More than 2,100 New Jersey residents died from a drug overdose in 2018. A vast majority of those deaths involved either prescription opioids or heroin. Pharmacist, Dev Tailor stated, “Our goal is to educate every patient or family member. The ability to make a difference in even 1 patient’s life will be satisfying.” The pharmacy is now open.
