After coming home with a headache and fever, Sandy took her son to the doctor where he was diagnosed with the flu. That night he passed away to to a misdiagnosed illness. After dealing with these unexpected circumstances, Sandy became a writer and published a book titled, "How to Survive The Worst That Can Happen," that talks about her journey after losing her son.
