Free Active Shooter Seminar Being Offered by Samurai Karate Studio
In light of the tragic mass shootings in Texas and Ohio, Samurai Karate Studio, located at 4561 Hard Scrabble Road, Columbia, SC, 29229, will be offering a free active shooter seminar for the general public on Saturday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m.
Columbia, SC, August 14, 2019 --(PR.com)-- In light of the tragic mass shootings in Texas and Ohio, Samurai Karate Studio, located in Northeast Columbia, will be hosting a free active shooter seminar at its headquarters on Saturday, August 24th. The event will start at 10:00 a.m. and last approximately 90 minutes.
Sensei Chris Feldt, owner and chief instructor of Samurai Karate Studio commented, "The number and frequency of mass shootings is increasing every day and I would like to offer our workshop to the community in the hopes they will be more prepared in the event an active shooter ever appeared at their school, work or church!"
The workshop will cover 15 important strategies that will help improve you or your child's chances of survival should a shooter appear.
"While this is indeed a very serious topic," commented Feldt, "we try to keep it fun and very informative!'
