Richard Peters won the latest photograph of the month contest with a photo titled “Spring Lamb.” The winning photo depicted a young lamb, in mid-jump, frolicking through the grass.. This was the first Photograph of the Month award received by Richard. For winning the April 2008 Photograph of the Month, Richard Peters will have one of his photographs reproduced on a 16x20 plexiglass surface provided by This photograph was also recently voted the overall winner of the 2007 BBC1 Countryfile Photography Competition, and is now on display at the Linnean Society in London as well as featured in the 2008 Countryfile Calendar.
