A Day in the Life of Jaguars' Maurice Jones-Drew Featured in the April Issue of Jacksonville Magazine

Jacksonville, FL, April 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Jacksonville Jaguars’ Maurice Jones-Drew gives Jacksonville Magazine’s one hundred thousand readers a glimpse inside his private life in the April issue, which is on stands now. The digital edition of Jacksonville Magazine can be viewed at http://jacksonvillemag.epubxpress.com.

While many may think the talented running back is your average young athlete that enjoys living a fast life, they will think differently after reading what a typical day is like for him. “I never was a party type guy. I’m more laid back and enjoy hanging out with my dogs, watching movies and beating my teammates in video games.” Drew further adds, “Although I’m just 23, I believe I’m more focused and driven than many athletes my age. I’ve set some hefty goals for myself, not just on the field but personally, and I plan to achieve them all.”

One of Drew’s many goals is to reach out to young people through his free football camps and provide the message that hard work can be their key to success. Drew hosts two annual camps: One in Concord, at his alma mater, De La Salle High School, on April 20, 2008 and the other in Jacksonville at Jaguars Stadium on May 10, 2008. For more information on the camps and to pre-register, please visit his website at www.MauriceDrew.com.

So whether he’s laying back listening to Alicia Keyes, perfecting his golf swing, or preparing for next season, this superstar athlete is running in the right direction.
