)-- BYD’s next generation battery electric tandem axle day cab, the BYD 8TT, will be on display at the Intermodal Association of North American (IANA) Expo in Long Beach, showcasing a design that combines performance, reliability, and driver comfort with clean and quiet zero-emission operation.
The second generation BYD 8TT is a versatile vehicle, capable of performing drayage and distribution work. The next generation BYD 8TT features improvements that directly reflect feedback from drivers and managers who operate BYD’s first generation trucks.
BYD Electric Trucks operate clean and quiet, and have significantly fewer moving parts than carbon-burning trucks. With less noise and vibration than conventional vehicles, BYD trucks provide the operator with an improved driving experience and safer work environment.
“BYD trucks are out there working hard every day,” said John Gerra, BYD’s Director of Business Development, Electric Trucks. “With our next generation BYD 8TT, we’re making history by setting a new standard for transportation.”
You can see the BYD 8TT and learn more about this remarkable vehicle at booth 124. The expo runs Sept. 15-18 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
