Andi Bowe, CSIRI Director, Won a Free Pass to All the Films and the Red Carpet Soiree at Orcas Island Film Fest Next Week

Orcas Island Film Festival and KISM sponsored a radio contest and Andi Bowe won a red carpet entry and free pass to this acclaimed film festival on Orcas Island WA. As an independent producer for seven years at communitytv in Santa Cruz CA, Andi is very excited to attend and interact with contributors to the Film Festival. She will be holding a free Sunday educational event at the Anacortes Library Meeting Room from 6-9PM. This event will be open to the public and instruments are encouraged.

Anacortes, WA, October 04, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Thanks to KISM, Andi Bowe just won tickets to Orcas Film Fest next week.

The 6 th Annual Orcas Film Festival will be held from Thursday through Monday, October 10-14 2019 at 3 venues on Orcas Island, WA.

Andi is dedicated to the Healing power of Music. CSIRI provides free educational input and websites to featured arts and artists every month.

Andi Bowe had family who settled in West Sound on Orcas Island before 1900, as she found out when she put old pictures and her mom's memoirs online many years ago called the Memoirs of Clara Bowe: Not the Movie Star, available on lulu.

As an artist, honored poet, author, and musician songwriter, Andi represents a unique viewpoint on many subjects from quantum physics to brain based research, from poetry books to workshops on Native Flutecarving, her interests span a wealth of information on global issues affecting all humanity but especially indigenous peoples and their music and arts.

She attended a Grandmother's Gathering at Moran State Park on Orcas Island over 25 years ago, when Grandma Kitty was sent by Grandma Twylah of Seneca Wolf Clan Teachers to hold a gathering that reconnected the Sacred Hoop, with many clans represented.

Andi was an independent producer at community tv Santa Cruz for 7 years, with a 2 year half hour weekly series in prime time called The Energy Crisis: Fact or Fiction? that showed every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM.

She also won Honorable Mention at the Earth Vision International Contest there in 2002, with her video Habitat 2002: Is Art and Music in Santa Cruz an Endangered speices?, as well as producing, editing, promoting and contributing as a poet-songsmith to many of her productions over the years. She also produced a 6-hour documentary shown in 3 2-hour segments over 3 weeks @ communitytv.org, of GCSC 2 (Global Crisis Solutions Conference) filmed live @ Berkeley CA Alumni House.
