Actor & Comedian Tony Hale Announces Denver Date for "An Awkward Conversation" Fundraiser with The Umphress Group and Blood:Water
Actor and comedian Tony Hale is holding a public fundraising event in Denver on October 28th, 2019 at the Alamo Draft House Sloans Lake, to benefit international charities.
Denver, CO, October 11, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Emmy Award winning actor Tony Hale (“VEEP," "Arrested Development," "Toy Story 4") and Grammy Award winner Dan Haseltine (Jars of Clay) come together in Denver for an awkward conversation about creativity, comedy, faith, and humanity. This special live theater experience takes place on October 28th, 2019 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Alamo Draft House Cinema in Sloans Lake. Guests can purchase general admission tickets to the event at www.TonyHaleDenver.com, or a special VIP ticket that includes an exclusive meet and greet with Tony. All proceeds benefit Blood:Water's work investing in African grassroots organizations fighting the clean water and HIV/AIDS crisis in their communities.

The night will kick-off with a special pre-show VIP meet and greet with Tony Hale from 5:30pm-6:30pm. General Admission doors open at 6:00pm with a cocktail hour and light appetizers available. The show begins at 7:00pm, with Tony Hale discussing a variety of topics including his career, his calling, his characters, and issues he is working to change through his work and activism. Fans will have the privilege of taking a journey through some of Tony’s most memorable moments of his career, in an intimate, conversational setting.
Since 2004, Blood:Water has partnered with grassroots organizations in sub-Saharan Africa to provide solutions to a lack of clean drinking water, and address the HIV/AIDS crisis. We do this by identifying Africa’s hidden heroes and coming alongside their vision for change. We provide technical, financial, and organizational support so that African civil society organizations have expanded reach and effectiveness in the communities they serve.
The Umphress Group is a real estate team that exists to help people all over Colorado turn their real estate dreams into reality, in order to give those less fortunate around the world a reality they've only dreamed of.
