CNet Training Celebrating International Data Center Day 2019

CNet Training is delighted to be celebrating the first International Data Center Day 2019 with the rest of the mission critical field.

London, United Kingdom, October 31, 2019 --(PR.com)-- International Data Center Day has been designed to create awareness of the data center industry and to inspire the next generation of talent.

International Data Center Day provides the industry an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a collaborative effort, what data centers are, why they are so important to our connected world, and the wide array of career opportunities that are part of the data center industry. By working together during and after International Data Center Day, the industry can connect with future generations and ensure a steady flow of skilled labor, enhance the public image of data centers and safeguard the ongoing prosperity of the data center industry. The October 29 event is scheduled during the annual 7x23 Exchange Fall Conference which CNet is attending as a gold sponsor.

As part of International Data Center Day, 7x24 Exchange is inviting data center operations to host data center tours for students to give them a more detailed insight into what a data center is and how it operates.

Andrew Stevens, CEO and President, CNet Training, says, “Celebrating International Data Center Day helps raise awareness of the mission critical industry and hopefully inspires a new generation to consider a career in this fantastic industry that has so many opportunities and growth possibilities. CNet is committed to promoting the value of STEM education and this day is a great opportunity to share what data centers are all about, how they work and the magnitude of roles that are required to keep the sector running. We encourage all our clients and learners to help spread the message and join us in celebrating the day.”

Tara Oehlmann, Program Director & Editor, 7x24 Exchange Magazine, says, “7x24 Exchange created International Data Center Day to connect our industry with future generations to ensure continuous support for years to come. There are many ways to get involved with International Data Center Day from hosting an event, providing educational resources, sponsorship and much more.
