Puffing for Police and Patriotism

A new business in Doylestown Township is having an ongoing fund raiser for local law enforcement.

Doylestown, PA, November 14, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The newly open Cigar Shop and Lounge, Cigar, Cigars, is inviting residents and customers to participate in a fund raiser benefiting the Doylestown Township Police Benevolent Association. How it works: Cigar, Cigars created a black and white drawing of a flag. Customers are asked to donate $1 and then attach their cigar band to the flag: darker bands for the red stripes and blue field for stars, and lighter colored bands for the white stripes.

Once the flag is complete Cigar, Cigars will donate all funds to the Police Benevolent Association. Scott Atkinson, owner of the cigar shop, hopes to raise $500 for the fund. “Supporting law enforcement where we open stores is an important part of who we are,” Atkinson commented. He also added that he had several of the flags made, and once the first flag is complete he will run the same program for other venues.

Cigar, Cigars is located at 1776 South Easton Road in Doylestown Township, near the corner of Route 611 and Edison Furlong Road. They have a large walk in humidor with a wide selection of popular cigars, as well as boutique offerings. In addition, they have free coffee, free WIFI, HD TVs, leather chairs and offer a membership complete with 24 hour lounge access, cigar lockers, and member discounts.
