Making great music together for King Liyo and Davynci as twin brothers is nothing short of second nature. Coming from a very music oriented family, they were taught from a young age the ins and outs of creating a song. It began for the duo at the age of 5, being educated by our musically trained father on how to play the piano, attempting to play classic piano songs such as 'Easy Like Sunday Morning' in unison. Since then their musical prowess expanded, with Davynci learning how to stroke the strings on a bass, while King Liyo was drawn more to the electric and acoustic sounds.
Their first-ever collaboration came in 2007 with their big brother PappaDub in the 7th grade. After the release, they knew they wanted this to be their career choice, falling in love with the whole process of creating an original track from start to finish. "Not only did we have an instilled passion for music, but taking every step of orchestrating an amazing song together makes it all worth so much more," the duo says.
Only about 3 percent of the world’s population are twins, and only one out of every three sets of twins is identical. But even among that extremely rare group of individuals, King Liyo and Davynci's Christein Humphery and Christopher Humphery are unique. They aren’t just identical twins - they're mirror twins which make up only about one-fourth of all identical twins. The statistical probability of their existence barely even registers - out of the entire global popular, mirror twins make up less than half of one percent (0.3%).
