South Florida International Fashion Week Announces Its Fifth Iteration Coming March 2020 Presented by Porsche West Broward

South Florida International Fashion Week powered by the Fashion for a Cause Foundation announces its fifth iteration that will take place March 4 through the 7, 2020, four days of fashion events and shows presented by Porsche West Broward.

Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 20, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Fashion for a Cause Foundation (FFACF) announces the fifth iteration of South Florida International Fashion Week (SFIFW), its premier fashion event that features renowned fashion designers who lend their name and share their runways to highlight emerging fashion designers. The event will take place March 4 through the 7, 2020.

SFIFW proudly announces Porsche West Broward as their premier sponsor along with Style the Runway, SFIFW’s exclusive hair and makeup styling sponsor.

Show attendees can expect many surprises to come during the four days of events. “We are very pleased to once again have the support of Porsche West Broward and Style the Runway, it’s validation our event is on the right path as we continue to grow,” said Andres Gonzalez, Founder of the Fashion for a Cause Foundation.

About South Florida International Fashion Week
South Florida International Fashion Week was created by the Fashion for a Cause Foundation as one of its programs to provide a platform where emerging and established local, national and international designers can exhibit their collections. Through the support of sponsors FFACF can provide a high-quality production that includes models, hair, make-up, and cocktail reception for attendees at each event while maintaining costs to designer’s low. Designers selected by the foundation’s SFIFW Committee are awarded a fully sponsored feature in SFIFW. Since its launch in 2017, SFIFW has showcased over 40 fashion designers from around the world and had the support of renowned fashion designers including Custo Barcelona and Carmen Steffens. Ticket sales directly benefit the foundation and facilitates their continued support of emerging designers and the launching of new programs.

About Fashion for a Cause Foundation
The Fashion for a Cause Foundation (FFACF), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was founded in 2012 to raise funds and awareness for local charity organizations. In 2017, FFACF expanded its mission to support emerging designers nurture their talents by facilitating apprenticeship programs and launched its premier biannual fashion event, South Florida International Fashion Week (SFIFW), as its main program for emerging fashion designers to showcase their collections.

Since its inception, FFACF has worked with the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Blind Children’s Foundation, Spring Preserve and Designers and Creative Teams Against Domestic Violence to name a few. The foundation has helped launch up and coming designers such as Sebastian Grey, current winner of Bravo’s reality fashion competition, Project Runway, and Anastasio Giannoutsos of Greece. SFIFW forms part of the foundation’s capital campaign with the goal to broaden its community outreach programs to include:

· supporting at-risk youth through self-esteem and empowerment programs;
· offering workshops to teach men and women with barriers to employment an industry related trade to achieve economic independence; and
· offer work space for emerging designers and artists.

Our mission is to support South Florida’s fashion design and manufacturing sectors through programs and platforms that aid emerging designers build their brand and business while promoting inclusion and empowering at-risk populations by eliminating barriers to opportunity through education and training.
