Gaylen Herman Joins Local Architectural Design Firm

Charlotte, NC, April 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Lou Jurkowski, chief executive officer of BJAC pa (www.bjac.com), one of the largest woman-owned design firms in the Southeast, has announced that Gaylen Herman has joined the firm as an intern architect. In this position, Herman will be responsible for various tasks including code research and developing plans and elevations in coordination with the architectural staff. Herman received her bachelors of architecture degree and minor in environmental sustainability from California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo and has more than three years of experience in practice, with a focus on residential design. Herman is LEED accredited and works with Habitat for Humanity. A California native, she currently resides in Cornelius.
