)-- EnerisQ International, LLC announced today that it will represent GWUT (Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing) services to its global base of energy industry customers effective immediately.
Dr. Jerry V. Dollar, Chief Executive Officer of EnerisQ International, is quoted as stating, “The primary application for the GWUT is within the oil and gas refining, petrochemical, storage, offshore, and pipeline transportation industries. This innovative technology is used to inspect difficult to access piping systems. EnerisQ International has gained a reputation for innovation with its customers and this new service reinforces our commitment to them.”
GWUT services allow for 100% of a pipe section to be inspected from a single location. The advantage to pipeline operators is that they need not shut down operations to inspect a segment of pipe. In addition, unlike conventional inspections, buried or difficult to access segments can still be inspected without added costs of access. Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing can pinpoint the exact position of an anomaly and even indicate its position on the pipe using a clock position reference point.
EnerisQ utilizes partners that are highly experienced in providing conventional nondestructive testing services, advanced nondestructive testing services and specialty inspection services. The company’s clients benefit from the complimentary services and technical experience to improve productivity and maximize the effectiveness of their inspection budgets.
EnerisQ specializes in online tank inspection and cleaning (OTIS robotics), pipeline integrity testing (UWT), and tubular inspection (NDT). The company also offers the following services and products on a global basis: lightning protection, earth grounding, and surge suppression. Integrated consulting services and vulnerability assessments are available for members of the global energy community as well.
