Greenville, NC, April 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- North Carolina State University has selected MHAworks, a Carolinas-based architecture firm, to design a new multi-purpose Conference Center for the Eastern 4-H Environmental Education Center. Michael Hining, President of MHAworks, will lead the project team as Design Principal for the $3 million facility.

The new state-of-the-art facility, located on a 250-acre site in Tyrrell County, will apply for LEED Silver Accreditation or better and include a catering kitchen, classrooms and capabilities for large group gatherings.

“This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project with geothermal-based HVAC systems,” Hining said.
