Feature Film "Crosshairs" Showcases San Antonio Talent

Action film to premiere at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema April 27.

San Antonio, TX, April 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Ferro Studios is proud to announce the premiere of the independent feature film “Crosshairs” at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema located at 1255 SW Loop 410 in Northwest San Antonio. Directed by Brett Mauser, the film boasts a cast and crew made up entirely of San Antonio talent.

“Crosshairs” is the second in the Wes Mercer series of films. Wes Mercer (Matthew Jasso) is a hit man whose cold-blooded lifestyle has been put heavily to the test with the death of Leslie Stiles, a woman from his past. Now, a year later, Wes has given up his nomadic ways and now lives in an apartment, meets with his best friend on a regular basis, and continues fulfilling contracts for a criminal boss. But all things change when a Wes becomes a target himself. He must fight for his survival while beginning a relationship with Carmen (Laura Evans), a legal secretary who is unaware of what he does for a living.

Along with Jasso and Evans, the film stars Erick Romero, Jason “Shark” McGuckian, Joe Miller, Marc Daratt, Jade Esteban Estrada, Melissa Dawn Smith, Christian Martinez, Jose Banuelos, Vanessa Reyes, Stephen Brogdon, Everette Henderson and James Edward.

“Crosshairs” is written and produced by Matthew Jasso.

The premiere will also include a screening of Jade Esteban Estrada’s “Bella Morena” music video which was also shot entirely in downtown San Antonio.
