JPII Newman Open House

Omaha, NE, January 31, 2021 --(PR.com)-- The JPII Newman Center in Omaha welcomes current and prospective college students and their families to attend an open house on Saturday, February 27 from 11a.m. – 4p.m.

The open house will feature tours of their three main spaces: Community areas, the Oratory, and Newman Hall and time for questions and student testimonials.

The Newman Center invites anyone looking for a home away from home during their college years to come see what this community has to offer.

Students who attend the open house and apply to live at Newman Hall will receive $50 off their first month of rent. No RSVP is necessary. Masks and social distancing will be required.

About the St. John Paul II Newman Center
The St. John Paul II Newman Center is the evangelization hub of the Archdiocese of Omaha at UNO. It is the spiritual home where UNO and students from other local colleges live in community, discern their vocation, celebrate their faith, and spend their recreation and study time surrounded by a positive, encouraging environment.

This 100,000-square-foot center, located on the southeast corner of 71st & Pacific includes a chapel, apartment-style housing for 162 students, indoor-outdoor fireplace and courtyard, prayer garden, study lounges, a fourth-floor outdoor rooftop deck, social space and a rectory for two priests.
