New Wiki, Collaboration Solutions Available to All YourMembership.com Clients

St. Petersburg, FL, May 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- YourMembership.com Inc., the global leader in private online communities, today announced the launch of new wiki and collaboration features within its complete online member community solution. The new features enable community members to collaborate on documents, edit wiki-enabled pages and share ideas across documents or custom pages that are wiki enabled. The new features are available for free to all YourMembership.com clients.

"These new wiki and collaboration solutions are important social networking and Web 2.0 features that enhance the overall user experience for our clients' community members," said William H. Stover Jr., president and CEO of YourMembership.com. "Each of our clients strives to provide increased value to their members – and enabling their members to collaborate on documents and share ideas via wiki-enabled content helps contribute to that increased membership value."

From a secure administrative backend, YourMembership.com community administrators have the ability to set group and community custom pages into wiki (collaborative) mode. Group administrators also may set group pages into wiki mode via the frontend of the site. Once a page is wiki enabled, any community member with access to that page can edit or add content to the page. When changes occur on wiki pages, previous versions are automatically archived to provide simple one-click version control with version history.

Additional collaboration features include YourMembership.com's new file libraries (file repositories). File libraries with member collaboration allow YourMembership.com clients to create frontend file libraries and embed them within site-wide and group-specific pages. Community administrators and group administrators also can create group file libraries and place them into collaborative mode – allowing members to upload their own files to the collection. To ensure files appear in the most logical order, administrators also can organize individual documents within file libraries.
