20th Annual Valpo-Fest Motorcycle/Car Show Memorial Weekend Event to Benefit Children of Fallen Troops
Memorial Day Weekend motorcycle and car show to benefit Operation Christmas, a non profit supporting children of Fallen US Troops. The event will feature a memorial service, 21 gun salute, etc. Operation Christmas provides Christmas Gift Cards and a VIP Orlando Theme Park vacation to children of the Fallen.
Valparaiso, IN, May 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Operation Ensuring Christmas, a charitable organization assisting children of fallen American Troops and Paragons Promotion, today announced that a portion of the proceeds from the 20th Annual Valpo-Fest Motorcycle and Car Show will be donated to OEC.
The event will feature a Motorcycle Show, Car show, buy-sell-trade Swap Meet, Tattoo Contest, Fashion Show, Live Music. There will be a special gun salute to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, special stage show by Miss Indiana Bella, and lot more. Motorcycle and car parts vendors from all over the country, giant food fest, beer garden, camping will be available. A portion of the proceeds received by OEC from the event will go to OECs’ “Christmas in July” VIP vacation for Children of the Fallen, with the remainder going to OECs’ Christmas Gift Card program. Gun salute and a possible Air-Force Flyover will also be a part of honoring the Fallen at the event.

About Operation Ensuring Christmas:
Operation Ensuring Christmas was founded in October 2004 to provide financial, moral, and rehabilitative support to the children of fallen American troops. The organization provides children with personalized Christmas gift cards during the holiday season, as well as a “Christmas in July” theme park trip to Orlando, Florida. This support is to assist these children in recovering from the grief and trauma caused by the loss of a parent in war and to help them ‘be kids again’.
