)-- Strengthening its position in the comic book industry, ComicCollectorLive.com has added indie publisher Dark Horse Comics to its ever growing community of advertising partners.
In making the announcement, MidTen Media’s CEO and President Joe Butler, creator of ComicCollectorLive, was excited to have Dark Horse on board. “We’re pumped that the folks at Dark Horse have decided to partner with us. They are one of the strongest Independents in comic books and have earned a loyal following with such favorites as ‘Buffy- The Vampire Slayer’, ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Serenity’”, said Butler.
CCL has grown its cooperative partner base to include such standards of the comic book industry as CGC and Top Cow, and has also joined forces with Big City Comics, Moonstone Publishing, AAM-Markosia, Boom Studios, Arcana, and ComicsPro.
“I absolutely love the comic book culture and just about everything associated with comic books,” says Butler. “When you sit and read a comic book it’s like being a kid again. And we, along with our partners, want to do everything we can to build up the industry and keep it strong for generations to come.”
Since 1986, Dark Horse Comics has proven to be a solid example of how integrity and innovation can help broaden a unique storytelling medium and establish a small, homegrown company as an industry giant. In addition to publishing comics from top talent like Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, Neil Gaiman, and comics legend Will Eisner, their highly successful line of comics and products based on popular properties includes Star Wars, Aliens, Conan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Emily the Strange, Tim Burton, Trigun, and The Incredibles. Today Dark Horse Comics is the third largest comic-book publisher in the U.S. and is recognized as the world's leading publisher of licensed comics material.
