An interview with Maryanne Talese, stage director of The Opera Company of North Carolina, will be featured on WCPE’s “Preview!” program. The interview can be heard on Sunday, May 25 between 6-9 p.m.

Wake Forest, NC, May 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- TheClassicalStation.org announces today that its weekly program “Preview!” will feature an interview with Maryanne Talese, stage director of The Opera Company of North Carolina. The interview can be heard during the station’s Sunday, May 25 program that airs from 6-9 p.m.

Talese will discuss the Opera Company’s upcoming performance of “Madama Butterfly” with “Preview!” host Deana Vassar. Performances will be May 30 and June 1 at Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh, N.C.

“‘Madama Butterfly’ is opera's ultimate tale of passion, sorrow and sacrifice,” says Vassar. “With this staging, the company concludes its journey through Italian opera history, celebrating a groundbreaking season and the growth of opera in this region.”

“Preview!” is a weekly feature that airs every Sunday evening from 6–9 p.m. ET and presents the latest in classical recordings and upcoming classical events.
