Merthyr Tydfil, United Kingdom, May 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Four Nations Tournament is an annual football (Soccer) event that was contested this year in a four-group tournament format, by the national sides of England, Wales, Gibraltar and Scotland.

The event lasted from 20th - 24th May, at a number of football stadiums located in North Wales. England won all of their matches, to retain the trophy they won in 2007 in the Scottish Highlands, without conceding a goal, while Wales and Scotland both enjoyed high-scoring wins against guest nation Gibraltar - who are likely to host this competition in 2009.
