New Book Release -The Acadian Adventures by Joshua Busch

Minneapolis, MN, June 01, 2008 --( The Acadian Adventures is a middle school fantasy book in the tradition of The Chronicles of Narnia and the Harry Potter books. The events of the story take place in the modern day, in Minneapolis.

Here is a short description of the book. Twelve year old Zoe, with help from her three companions, discovers a whole new world through an unlikely door. Once there she battles the Sequoians, who are trying to take control of this new world that she's come to love: Acadia. Along the way, Zoe makes unlikely friends and has close encounters with pirates, Samurai, and even killer whales. And ultimately Zoe is left with the decision of returning home or staying in Acadia.

Joshua Busch is also the author of Hope Station, which was released earlier in 2008.

Joshua Busch has started Porcupine Books at which is a website that showcases books, for free, for self published authors and for authors from small publishers.

Joshua Busch has a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Millikin University.
