Paragon Wealth Management received Utah's 2008 Best of State Award in Financial Services on May 31, 2008.

Provo, UT, June 03, 2008 --( Paragon Wealth Management, an investment management company in Provo, Utah, was awarded a medal at the 2008 Best of State Awards, May 31 at the Salt Lake Convention Center in Salt Lake City.

Best of State presented awards in 10 different categories. They recognized Paragon in the Business Services category and awarded them the Best of State medal for Best Financial Services.

“It is an honor to receive this award,” said Dave Young, President of Paragon. “We have a great team at Paragon, and I owe it all to them.”

For over 20 years Paragon Wealth Management has focused perfecting their investment strategies. Young started Paragon when he sold his 12 franchise businesses and couldn’t find a traditional brokerage firm to meet his needs. When he avoided the 1987 stock market crash, his methods sparked a lot of interest and he began to manage money for clients.

Young’s methods have gained national attention. His flagship portfolio called Top Flight generated a total return of 402.38% verses 68.49% for the S&P 500 from its inception on December 31, 1997 through April 30, 2008. Its compound annual return is 17.07%, versus 5.22% for the S&P 500 (visit to see complete track record and full disclosures).
