)-- The incomparable, Southern California favorite classic rock band, OCD, will be appearing at the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, this July 4th, 2008, in Los Alamitos. The event, co-sponsored by the cities of Los Alamitos, Cypress, Seal Beach, and Rossmoor, will be held at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base at 11200 Lexington Drive, in the city of Los Alamitos.
The gates will open at 4:00PM and is free to all. The event will include free activities like military displays, roving entertainers and of course The OCD Band appearing on the main stage. Also, for a minimal cost, you can enjoy an extensive Family Fun Zone, a water polo game featuring the USA Women’s Water Polo Team taking on rival Australia, and several vendors will be supplying terrific food. There will be flybys from military aircraft before the event’s climax at 9:00PM with the best, and longest, Red, White and Blue fireworks display in Southern California.
Everyone over the age of 16 entering the Joint Forces Training Base must present photo I.D. at the main gate. A parent must accompany children and those who do not have photo I.D. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged, however, alcohol, dogs and fireworks are not permitted at this event and free parking is available.
The OCD Band takes great pride in launching into two sets of their most energetic classic rock covers from bands like The Allman Bros. to ZZ Top.
