Elina Networks Appoints Shekar Nair as CEO

Bangalore, India, June 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Elina Networks, a pioneer in networking solutions for Emerging Enterprises, has appointed Shekar G Nair as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Shekar was previously, part of the Asia-Pacific Sales leadership team at NetApp and was responsible for its OEM business. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of NetApp India Operations. Shekar co-founded Allegro Networks in California, USA and was responsible for product operations. Shekar was part of the inception team at Xylan and was instrumental in its successful IPO in 1996.

Shekar will lead Elina through its next phase of expansion and growth. "We are delighted to have Shekar join our senior management team. Shekar brings in a rare combination of entrepreneurial leadership in start-ups as well as in established companies along with rich international experience. He will play a key role in scaling the company to become a global firm," said Vivek Shenoy, CTO, Elina Networks.

The company had recently announced its first release of the enteprise networking software ENPAQ, a comprehensive solution delivering networking, security and management features.
