DNR Process to Launch FI® During Singapore International Water Week

State of the art field intelligence software built on Field Device Tool (FDT) technology, already being implemented at the Changi Water Reclamation Project to eventually manage over 10000 field devices, has been selected as a ‘New Product Innovation’ by event organizers.

Singapore, Singapore, June 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- DNR Process Solutions will be making the pan-Asia and worldwide launch of FI® Field Intelligence during the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) to be held in Singapore between June 23-27, 2008.

FI® has been recognized by the SIWW organizers for its innovation and will be on display at the “New Product Innovation” corner at the event.

This state of the art field intelligence software, built on FDT- Field Device Tool technology, carries out remote parameterization, diagnostics and monitoring of all field devices on open communication protocols like Profibus, FieldBus and Hart.

One of the novel features of FI® is that it is the first of its kind based on Client Server Architecture where up to 10 users can concurrently access information remotely or from the control room or remotely in a secure way from a water treatment or a process plant using existing Internet technologies. The data can be stored in a centralized maintenance management system. This unique feature of FI® helps optimize the contribution from vital assets by providing real- time operational intelligence related to asset availability and utilization.

FI® is already being implemented at the Changi Water Reclamation Plant in Singapore, where it will eventually manage 10,000 field devices at the waste water treatment plant.

During the first ever SIWW, which is expected to be a congregation of over 6000 water professionals from all over the world, DNR Process Solutions will also demonstrate its competencies in delivering totally integrated plant instrumentation (information) and control systems to water and waste water treatment plants using leading edge information, communication, automation and sensor technologies. The company will also be doing a 20 minute presentation on FI on June 26, 11.40 am-12.00 noon. DNR representatives will also be available at booth no: J18 to discuss their solutions.

“We are indeed thrilled at FI® being recognized as a new product innovation amongst this august gathering of global water professionals,” said Mr.Dinesh Sharma, CEO or DNR Process Solutions. “We look forward to the opportunity to contribute our competencies in the water and waste water treatment domain by enabling organizations to control and manage their assets using our suite of products and solutions.”
