)-- Mahoney & Associates fills key leadership role in the Qualified Plans Department.
Mahoney & Associates, a privately-held compensation and benefits management firm, announces the appointment of David Hooban as Qualified Plans Specialist.
Mr. Hooban joins the firm as an integral member of the Qualified Plan Consulting team, providing clients with comprehensive advisory services pertaining to retirement program design and planning.
With over 20 years of experience in the Retirement Plan and Investment industry, Mr. Hooban will be instrumental in continuing to build the firm’s Qualified Plans practice. Before joining Mahoney & Associates, he was a Senior Relationship Manager with Mutual of Omaha. Prior to that, he worked with several major financial services firms in high-level leadership and consulting roles. Additionally, Mr. Hooban has a degree in Economics from Kean University and holds his NASD Investment Company Representative (Series 6) license.
In his role as Qualified Plans Specialist, Mr. Hooban will provide strategic consulting services and is the primary point of contact for all qualified plan activity. Focusing on asset growth, plan profitability and employee participation rates, he will work closely with clients’ internal corporate management to develop and optimize plan investment selections and service efficiency.
