Crescent State Bank Hosts Root Beer Float Social

Cary, NC, June 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Michael G. Carlton, president of Crescent State Bank (www.crescentstatebank.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of Crescent Financial Corporation, (NASDAQ Global MarketSM), has announced that the bank will host a root beer float social at the Apex office on Wednesday, June 18 and the Holly Springs office on Wednesday, June 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in their respective lobbies. A free box of checks will be given to anyone who opens a Freedom checking account the day of the socials. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend.

Freedom checking accounts are flexible and convenient personal checking accounts that have no minimum daily balance and no monthly service charges. The account comes with free online banking and 24 hour telephone banking. There is a minimum of a $100 deposit to open an account.
