March Entertainment Announces Second Chilly Beach Movie: "The Canadian President"

March Entertainment is extending its Chilly Beach franchise by producing a follow-up to its first successful animated film.

Sudbury, Canada, June 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Not content with three seasons as a hit television series and one feature-length movie, March Entertainment is extending its Chilly Beach franchise by producing a second film.

Currently in production, the animated movie dubbed Chilly Beach: The Canadian President, hilariously spoofs the keystone of Canadian identity: the Canuck fixation on its relationship with Uncle Sam.

When the United States attempts to take over Canada once and for all, half-witted hoser Dale is somehow thrown into the job of American presidency thanks to the machinations of a shadowy consortium. But when their puppet ends up harder to control than they expected, sinister “measures” must be taken.

The movie's release is planned for autumn 2008, in time for the U.S. election season. March has already secured a broadcasting agreement with Super Channel and negotiations are underway with broadcasters around the world.

The first movie in the series, Chilly Beach: The World is Hot Enough, is currently available at nationwide retailers, including HMV. It is also available through online retailers such as Amazon.ca.

More information, such as upcoming release dates and a cinematic trailer, will be available on http://www.chillybeach.com and http://www.ilaugh.com, March Entertainment's broadband comedy portal.
