Iatria Health Center Acupuncturist Teaches Meridian Theory Class

Lindsey Siegle Leads Alternative Health Seminar.

Raleigh, NC, April 11, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Angela Baylis, doctor of chiropractic and managing director of Iatria Health Center, has announced that Lindsey Siegle, licensed acupuncturist at the firm, will teach a Meridian Theory class at the Medical Art Massage and Esthetics School. The nine sessions, covering the fundamental concepts of Tao, Yin and Yang, Five Elemental Theory, Qi and Blood, will meet on Wednesdays beginning April 12 through June 7 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Students will study the pathways of the 12 regular meridians, two of the eight extraordinary vessels and selected points on each, as well as discuss tongue and pulse diagnosis.

“I am excited to have Lindsey teach these sessions,” said Baylis. “The classes will be an educational and interesting opportunity for our community.”

About Lindsey Seigle:
Lindsey Seigle is a Licensed Acupuncturist at Iatria Health Center, where she performs a number of procedures including facial rejuvenation and acupuncture facelifts. She individualizes each treatment so that patients receive exactly the right acupuncture and herbal prescription unique to their conditions. Seigle obtained an MBA from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she studied acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy. She is licensed in North Carolina and California.

The Medical Arts Massage and Esthetics School was founded in February 1996 by Executive Director Jerry I. Goynias, Licensed Physical Therapist. Based on his experience employing massage therapists in his physical therapy pain clinic, he identified a need for massage therapists with more extensive training in anatomy and western clinical medical massage technique. The Medical Arts Massage and Esthetics School moved to its spacious new quarters in North Raleigh in June 2000.
