Diners TV Series Host and Son Celebrate "Motostars" Appearance Next Week

Westport, CT, June 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Garrison Leykam, who produced several recording artists for London Records including legendary jazz pianist Erroll Garner, raucous rock, blues and country band Greezy Wheels and singer-songwriter Leslie Pearl will be headed to Ohio with his son Christopher to celebrate their motorcycle being featured in the "MotoStars: Celebrities + Motorcycles" Exhibit at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.

The Diners theme motorcycle, named for the TV series Garrison is Hosting and Co-Producing for Connecticut Public Television (CPTV), began as a 2003 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom and was converted into a “bobber” style bike with Christopher, an Industrial Design major at Syracuse University, creating the award-winning graphics and collaborating on the original design concept for the bike. The motorcycle was a Top Finisher in the Big Twin Exhibit of the 26th Annual Cycle World International Motorcycle Show at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, Centerfold in New York Rider, “Metric of the Month” in V-Twin and 1 of 6 custom motorcycles chosen to appear in the 2008 Star Calendar from a field of hundreds of entries.

The Grand Opening for the “MotoStars: Celebrities + Motorcycles” will be held on the grounds of the Museum in Pickerington, Ohio June 27-28, 2008. The weekend event, which is open to the public, will gather featured MotoStars, Motorcycle Hall of Famers, industry leaders and enthusiasts in celebration of the exhibit. Notable personalities offering motorcycles and memorabilia to the exhibit include auto racing legend Dan Gurney, General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz, super middleweight boxing star Jeff Lacy, champion race car driver and founder of the Colorado 500 Wally Dallenbach, Sr., “King of the Kustomizers” George Barris and rock legend Neil Peart from Rush. Famous movie bikes include the 2004 MV Agusta F4-SPR ridden by Will Smith in “I, Robot.” Exotic custom motorcycles designed and built by Austin Weiss for entertainers such as will.i.am, frontman for hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas, and Carlos Mencia, critically acclaimed comic and star of Comedy Central’s “Mind of Mencia,” will also be featured.
