Like Minded Enterprises, Inc. Announces Don McPherson as Guest Speaker for Football Event at Texas Stadium

Like Minded Enterprises Inc. announces that 2008 College Football Hall of Fame Inductee Don McPherson will be speaking at the Blitz at Texas Stadium on July 19th. By adding Mr. McPherson to the one day, all position event for high school football players, LME increases their focus on the total athlete.

Dallas, TX, June 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Like Minded Enterprises, Inc. is proud to announce that 2008 College Football Hall of Fame Inductee Don McPherson will be the guest speaker for the Blitz at Texas Stadium on July 19th. The Blitz at Texas Stadium is a one day, all positions event for high school football players consisting of physical testing, position specific instruction, and a "gauntlet" style skills competition.

While Mr. McPherson is known for being one of the best quarterbacks that has ever played at Syracuse University, his best work has been as a social activist. Mr. McPherson has been featured in O, the Oprah Magazine, and has consulted with the NFL and the United States Military on programs for the prevention of domestic violence.

About Don McPherson --
Don McPherson quarterbacked Syracuse to an unbeaten season in 1987 that ended in a 16-16 tie with Auburn in the Sugar Bowl. He won the Maxwell Award, which goes to the nation's top college player. Other awards include the Davey O'Brien Award and the Johnny Unitas Award, which are presented to the nation's best college quarterback. He was runner-up to Notre Dame's Tim Brown in the Heisman Trophy balloting. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

The Philadelphia Eagles selected McPherson in the sixth round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Houston Oilers in 1990. He also spent four seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Ottawa Rough Riders.

He is the founder and executive director of the Sports Leadership Institute at Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y.
