Concert to Benefit Cutting-Edge Social Service Organizations

Sedona, AZ, April 13, 2006 --(PR.com)-- "Music of the Future for Minds of the Future," is how Gabriel of Sedona describes his CosmoPop music, and his vision of “Music and Business without Greed” is a totally new paradigm for the future of music that can be experienced at CosmoPop Benefit Concerts nationwide. Gabriel of Sedona and his nine-piece Bright & Morning Star Band will be coming to Prescott's Watson Lake Park on Sunday, April 30 to perform a Major Outdoor CosmoPop Benefit Concert, benefiting cutting-edge non-profit social service organizations.

Presented by Global Change Music, a nonprofit organization, CosmoPop Benefit Concerts are family affairs with food, arts and crafts vendors, and great music. Bring your drums for a drum jam starting at 12:00 noon. Enjoy a Cosmo Hip Hop performance by DeAsUnJa at 12:45 P.M., and opening act The CosmoTeens Band will hit the stage at 1:15 P.M.

The CosmoTeens Band is an eight-piece energetic youth band whose inspiring original music has deep lyrics of social concern that far transcend the ages of these teens and young adults. With three of the members being Gabriel of Sedona's children who have been taught his unique style and melodies, this band performs a beginning version of CosmoPop. All three children were born in Prescott. Keep those dance shoes strapped on and "CosmoDance to CosmoPop" as headlining act Gabriel of Sedona & The Bright & Morning Star Band begins a three to four-hour concert starting at 2:00 P.M.

Gabriel of Sedona, founder of the nonprofit, independent record label Global Change Music, is first and foremost a cutting-edge musical pioneer and magical vocalist of many diverse genres. CosmoPop is a totally unique and new genre of music invented by Gabriel of Sedona that includes all the contemporary mediums with a cosmic influence that captivates your soul. CosmoPop is higher-consciousness music with spiritual vibes and lyrical content addressing many individual and humanitarian issues that incorporates saxophones, trumpet, flute, keyboards, drums, bass, background vocalists, rhythm guitar, and percussion with Gabriel's lead vocals. Gabriel calls CosmoPop "spiritually hip vocal music."

At one of his CosmoPop Concerts, you will be allured by his CosmoMystic style and the next song you hear may be CosmoRock or CosmoJazz. All nine musicians in Gabriel of Sedona’s Bright & Morning Star Band are professional volunteer musicians from around the world who have been together in the band for 11 years volunteering their time and talent to help support cutting-edge social service programs that have a global beneficial influence to people of all races. Some of these programs and nonprofit organizations are Friendly Hands Vocational Training Program, the Personality Integration Rehabilitation Program for teens and adults, the Soulistic Medical Institute, Global Family Legal Services, and Avalon Organic Gardens & Farm. All the musicians in Gabriel of Sedona & The Bright & Morning Star Band are members of the Musicians-That-Need-To-Be-Heard Network, an affiliate of Global Change Music, that is comprised of musicians helping other musicians. The goal of the Network is to help musicians earn their living from their craft by providing recording opportunities, instruments, management, and other needs pertinent to a musician’s career, even room and board if necessary. Gabriel of Sedona is not only a musician; he is a spiritual leader and visionary, a social and political change agent, and an environmentalist. He is one of America’s bright hopes for justice and compassion for the underprivileged in this country and the world. Gabriel of Sedona has started an international Spiritualution™, which is the fusion of spiritual activism with revolutionary proactive programs. His idea of proactive spirituality or spiritual activism began in the 1990s with his concerts, writings, and teachings.
