Tasica Workflow Reporting Supports SQL Databases
Tasica Dynamic Reports by Alphalogix unifies data from multiple databases and workflow.

“Prior to this milestone, Dynamic Reports could only report workflow data from Tasica Forms Director. This worked perfectly for businesses who had processes that needed extended reporting functions added to their automated workflow”, said Robert McCandless, CEO of Alphalogix. “However, now that businesses can use SQL data in their reporting structures they can enhance their decision making, communication and overall daily operations.”
Launched in Fall of 2007, Tasica Dynamic Reports is a custom reporting application that allows businesses to create customized data centric reports. End users can manage reports via an online browser or through a role and security based portal environment such as IBM WebSphere Portal.
The report designer helps reduce reliance on IT departments and outsourced companies for extensive development projects by allowing users with no coding ability to utilize the point and click, drag and drop interface to create reports. Designers also have the ability to customize the look and feel of the reports to suit their specific needs.
The solution also has permission based rules that allow specific personnel rights to view reports. Reports can be exported to Microsoft Excel for further visual definition or printed directly from Tasica Dynamic Reports.
The Tasica Dynamic Reports Portlet Pack integrates the reporting application in IBM WebSphere Portal giving end users the chance to work with their workflow, reporting and other applications such as mail, calendaring, document from a singe point of access. Recently, Alphalogix announced plans for Dynamic Reports to support IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1, reported to be released by IBM at the end of the month.
Tasica Dynamic Reports also extends the power of Tasica Forms Director, a business process automation solution that allows businesses to design simultaneous workflows with no coding. Forms Director routes electronic forms and data with business logic based decisions. Users can manage the workflows in a role and security based portal environment or an online browser.
