Auditions for ‘Strait Street – Tales from a Red Light District’ the New Musical Sensation by MK Leisure

Malta, Malta, June 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- “We are very proud, that this is going to be our second great permanent production” stated artistic director Salvu Mallia. “For over a year, we have been entertaining thousands of patrons from all over the world at our own theatre ‘The Arena’, with the highly successful musical show about the Great Siege ‘Knights Spectacular 1565’ with a cast of 50 performers and 8 trained horses” he went on to say, that ‘Strait Street – Tales from a Red Light District’, which is planned to launch in September, will be more in line with traditional Musical Theatre, with non stop dancing and singing numbers, though the approach to the plot is highly innovative and surprisingly original. Besides the prostitutes and the pimps, the cabaret artistes, soldiers and sailors, chronic drunkards and finally today’s tenants, the lawyers and solicitors, the story will feature a number of known characters ranging from Caravaggio to Elvis Presley.
