Non-Uniform Voltage Distribution for ElecNet's Electric Field Simulations

Infolytica Corporation announced today that the newest release of ElecNet is now available.

Montreal, Canada, July 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- ElecNet, Infolytica’s 2D and 3D electric field simulation software, now supports non-uniform voltage distribution to accurately represent the operating conditions of devices such as larger scale power transformers or electrical bushings. ElecNet allows for electrodes to be excited with a non-uniform voltage distribution, accounting for the variations typically observed in these devices.

ElecNet also features the new Streamline Generator. Streamlines expand on the current post-processing tools to include charts of the V and |E| fields along a streamline or where values of maximum |E| or |J| occur.
