Bravo Productions Nominated for Two International Special Events Society Esprit Awards

Long Beach, CA, July 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Bravo Productions of Long Beach, Calif., has been nominated for the ISES Esprit Awards from the International Special Events Society (ISES) in the categories of Best Corporate Event Planning – Budget Under $75,000 and Best Event Design/Décor – Budget $25,000 - $75,000.

Founded in 1987, Bravo Productions is an award winning, full-service, event planning, design and production company specializing in staging corporate functions nationwide to support clients’ strategic marketing campaigns. With regional offices also in Las Vegas, Washington state and Colorado, the company has received other prestigious honors, including three Esprit Awards, two Gala Awards by Special Events Magazine, a Silver Award for Innovation by Corporate Event Magazine, and several Prism Awards by the Public Relations Society of America Los Angeles Chapter, to name a few.

Both Esprit Award nominations are for an event produced for Enterprise Rental Car – Fleet Services Division in celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary and held in conjunction with its annual sales and administration recognition program, which took place last August in Palm Springs, California. Themed, “Anniversary Lifetime Cruise – S.S. Enterprise,” the event not only recreated an actual sea-going experience in a hotel function space, it commemorated Enterprise’s founder, Jack Taylor, who was proud to serve his country in World War II, and his combat missions originated from the U.S.S. Enterprise, a navy ship. It was after Taylor returned to St. Louis that he founded Enterprise Rental Car with a fleet of seven vehicles.

“We are extremely honored by these nominations, and are lucky to have such a great, great client as Enterprise,” says Greg Jenkins, partner of Bravo Productions. “The importance of global industry recognition helps improve industry standards internationally and further promote our professionalism.”

ISES honors industry excellence through its prestigious awards program the ISES Esprit Awards, which fuel a spirit of competition within designated categories. The Esprit Awards gain global visibility and recognition for ISES members. It honors special event professionals who exhibit a ‘spirit of excellence’ in their work. ISES is dedicated to recognizing excellence in events and honoring those individuals whose vision and creativity make their events ‘special.’

The awards ceremony will take place on August 23, 2008 in St. Petersburg, Florida. “Unfortunately we will be unable to attend the ceremony this year, we will be staging an event for Enterprise on that date,” says Jenkins.
