Bucks County Photo Fine Artist Spreads Her Wings Southward

Warrington, PA, July 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Bucks Country, PA, photographer-artist Rosemary Dennis Taglialatela, of Warrington, PA, will exhibit works from her collection beginning today at the Pure Gallery, Baltimore, MD. The exhibit also marks the first day of business for the gallery itself and also features the photography of owner Daniel DeAngelis. Ms. Taglialatela’s pieces feature a unique style she calls, “photo impressionism” since the style recalls the paintings of French impressionist Claude Monet. She said that this new style has been received so enthusiastically because of the “dazzlingly rich, full color and how sunlight plays on the subject.” Although she would not disclose the exact methodology of her “photo impressionistic” process, she was quick to say that there was no manipulation of the images using software or special effects lenses. “The work that appears in the frame is as it came from the camera”, she explained.

This exhibition marks Ms. Taglialatela’s fifth and most extensive showing to date. Since May, 2008, her works have been exhibited in three juried shows, and auctioned in a fundraiser for Doylestown’s Mercer Museum. In addition to fine arts photography, Ms. Taglialatela pursues an active schedule as a commercial, life event and portrait photographer. In addition, is also a photographer for the Mercer and Font Hill Museum, in Doylestown, PA, and, of Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA. Her work was recently selected as a contributing photographer to the Pentax Corporation Gallery of photography, http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/rosemarytaglialatela

Ms. Taglialatela has made time to volunteer as official photographer for the annual (Central Bucks Country organizations that sponsors) 5 K Races, and Special Equestrians, a Warrington, PA-based non-profit that provides horseback riding lessons to special needs children.
